The Espoused One will be traveling to
Phoenix and Casa Grande next month. Need some REALLY GOOD local restaurants that aren't too expensive and are locally owned. Any suggestions?

1. Here's a couple of suggestions,,,,
Mi Amigo Ricardo (local Mom & Pop one location only in Casa Grande) Macayo's Mexican Kitchen (multiple locations Casa Grande/Phoenix area ~ Arizona based company) Native New Yorker (multiple locations Casa Grande/Phoenix Area ~ started in Arizona now offers franchises) Dell's Pizza (local Mom & Pop one location only in Casa Grande) good food but it's mostly a bar =) The Cookie Jar (local Mom & Pop one location only in Casa Grande) breakfast/lunch tasty food. a pricier suggestion is an excellent restaurant in Casa Grande BeDillon's (Steaks/Prime Rib etc.) Hope this helps,,,, |

3. You're welcome.
This information is based on us living there but we moved last Summer. So there may be some changes that we don't know about. I hope it helps tho. It may keep him out of all the chain options.

4. PHX is a huge sprawl and includes Tempe, Scottsdale and Mesa
among others depending on your perspective. Any idea of general area? I haven't lived there in decades but have family there and visit on occasion. I can get some suggestions if you know local. Also check the Phx New Times alt weekly for reviews. They probably do a best-of issue every year.

5. Macayo's also has
a Tempe location. It is located close to ASU's football stadium. It has Depot in the name as it is right be the railroad track that cuts through Tempe.
