Arizona
Related: About this forumI made a donation to Dr. Carmona this morning.
It was only $25, but it's all I have at the moment...and, it was money I was going to send to our President. But, I figured he doesn't need it as much as Carmona.
I have to admit, my heart isn't in this. Not because I don't believe in Dr. Carmona, but because I don't believe the majority of Arizona citizens will brain up and vote against The Flake. I had my heart broken when Glassman lost to McCain (no thanks to our state party). Prove me wrong, Arizona. For the love of humanity...prove me the fuck wrong.

(8,492 posts)I'm hoping our Dem party steps it up, this time. We can't afford (another) Flake in our government.
No thanks to a very poor campaign run by Glassman! Carmona has already run a better campaign than Glassman ran. I think he has a chance. We all have to work hard to make it happen.

(6 posts)I'm glad to hear that your supporting your Democratic candidate. Arizona needs more Democrats in office to fight the crazies in this state.
I live in the 1st Congressional District and have been donating to Ann Kirkpatrick's campaign.
Don't lose heart, I've talked to a lot of Republicans lately that are fed up with the Tea Party and tired of being embarrassed for Arizona. The next election should prove to be interesting.

(8,492 posts)I'll support any Arizona Democrat. Ann has annoyed me a few times, but I still support her. Plus, after talking to her, she's really a genuinely friendly person. She's got a tough fight on her hands, that's for sure.
The husband and I noticed yesterday, we've only seen one Romney bumper sticker, several Ron Paul BUT way, way more Obama stickers than both combined! We figured we'd see more after he became the "real" candidate, but...doesn't seem that way.
And, yes, we've noticed the same thing with the Rs and right Indies. They're disgusted.
