Related: About this forumRain and Winter Storm Watch for Central and Northern Arizona
Be sure to check your local forecast before traveling north of Phoenix between now and Saturday.
Rain and mountain snow showers expected to begin Wednesday night.
Early morning Thursday through late Friday "difficult to impossible traffic conditions" as for many areas, depending on the elevation, rain will gradually turn to snow. "Snow levels 6,000 - 7,000 feet, falling as low as 4,000 feet by Friday morning."
Snow showers tapering off my Saturday.
For details, and to look up your specific locations, see: https://www.weather.gov/fgz/
Please be safe this Thanksgiving week!
