AZ: Organizations project anti-Trump messages onto Camelback Mountain
A political light show illuminated the side of Camelback Mountain on Tuesday night, reading "COVID deaths 224,601," and "Trump failed us" in both English and Spanish.
The show started at 7 p.m. and could clearly be seen from the intersection of Camelback and Camelhead roads and nearby neighborhoods.
Progress Arizona, Our Voice Our Vote Arizona, LUCHA, Mi Familia Vota, and Por Nuestras Familias PAC collaborated to project the light show one week prior to Election Day.
“In these final days of the 2020 election, we are literally putting a spotlight on just how disastrous Donald Trump’s presidency has been for Arizona, and for America as a whole,” said Emily Kirkland of Progress Arizona.
