Man do I remember this day

My folks had just bought a place in Scottsdale and I was in town to help them move in.


March freaking 26th!

Heard a lot of "but it's a dry heat".

I’m in several layers today; it’s 56 at my house in the far west valley.

2. I took some time off this week for Passover.

Not enjoying this weather. It's not even sunny. My heater was running last night.

4. I will take 66 for another

week or so. I don't need heat just a couple extra blankets on the bed and a heaver sweater or flannel clothes.

Because I know this is the end of daytime highs in the 60's until at least late November.

It's supposed to be in the 90's by the end of next week.

At least my house has ceiling fans.

I never miss the heat. The only thing I don't do in the cold is pull weeds (cold hands). I wear shorts all year around, also.

That 1988 heat was the beginning of several years worth of record breaking heat. I remember June or July of 1990 it was in the mid 120's. Maybe it was because mother nature had enough of the Reagan-Bush years in the white house. Just kidding - mostly.
