4 arrested in illegal gambling operation raid in Jefferson County; $500K seized

JEFFERSON COUNTY (KATV) — Four people are behind bars after officials successfully raided two gambling houses in Jefferson County late Tuesday night.

Authorities say for the last two weeks, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, the Tri-County Drug Task Force, and the Pine Bluff Police Department have been investigating illegal gambling operations in the county.

Through the investigation, officials were led to discover two locations:

1. 8213 Highway 63 South, Jefferson County

2. 3510 W. 6th Avenue, Pine Bluff

In raiding these two locations, deputies seized almost $500,000 and removed more than 77 motherboards from gambling devices.

caught the FBI's attention. The guy did a panorama viewing of the inside of his house and garage, which had slot machines, which the FBI noticed, and the guy and his family are losing everything.
