he's part of the MANA group with several doctors treating COVID patients at Washington Regional in Fayetteville. He gave me a glimmer of hope saying his partners are much less fearful and are having much greater success in treating patients now than even a couple months ago. Also, the number of health care workers being infected far less.

He said 'we are getting a lot better treating this' and healthcare workers are much better in preventing exposure. If that can happen in poor ol' Arkansas, hopefully it's true elsewhere.

I got my flu shot, too, and am glad he told me I might experience mild flu-like symptoms. I woke up achy from head-to-toe with an elevated temp, albeit nowhere near fever.

I certainly hope my malaise doesn't take nearly that long!

It's probably been 10 years since I had a flu shot. No good reason why I havent; just hasn't been a priority. But, I've read 2-3 times lately it's advisable given the pandemic. Not sure why.

My parents get that super duper dose, too. Guess I got the sippy cup version. Lol
