Their laws are about as restrictive as the ones in NM that have given us a 97% vaccination rate. Most of the 3% are home schooled; a few have medical exemptions and a few go to religious schools.
That's why all the states around NM plus Mexico reported measles outbreaks last year. NM didn't.
I'm glad that CA finally passed a law wherein public health trumps the right of parents to be ignorant.

If you're not vaccinating your kids, and there is no medical reason for withholding vaccincations, you are committing child neglect and endangering others.
