VICTORY!! Ban on bobcat trapping approved!!!

Aug 5, 2015 — The California Fish and Game Commission voted 3-2 to ban bobcat trapping statewide. Commission President Jack Baylis and Commissioners Anthony Williams and Eric Sklar voted in favor of a statewide ban.

The ban will become effective upon approval by the state Office of Administrative Law. The regulations are anticipated to be effective before the start of the 2015-2016 bobcat trapping season.

Congratulations to all who signed this petition and all who helped draw attention to this issue.

I have at least one who visits my little ponds. I seem to be the local watering hole.

They must be suffering from this infernal drought more than people. I'm glad you have a place for them!
Let's hope we have a nice, wet winter.
