That US Senate Debate

was a complete dud. Kamala was vague at times, Ron lost many voters on his immigration stance, and Sanchez had some decent points, but turned out to be a DINO on many issues. Not one of them mentioned the impact of money in politics, breaking up the big banks, the need for single-payer, and the need for $15/hr minimum wage(Ron opposed it but said $12 is enough--which we know isn't). When they asked about free public tuition for students, not one of them supported it above the community college level.

We don't have any strong progressive candidates in the race as of now which is extremely disappointing considering our so called progressive nature of politics. Overall, very discouraged by that debate.

I prefer her stand on gun control and her refusal to take tobacco industry money.

But it isn't June yet.

But her lack of commitment to strong progressive economic ideals, and vagueness on issues like health care or foreign policy scares me greatly.
