I filled in my California absentee ballot bubble for Bernie!

It feels great to add my California vote for Bernie! My permanent absentee ballot arrived in today's mail. I enthusiastically filled in the bubble for Bernie. Filled in the bubble for Kamela Harris for U. S. Senator too. The ballot was short. I knew who and what to vote for so I'll send it back today.

or position on a ballot issue. Is that a county-by-county thing? If so, we don't have a standard statewide ballot format?!

here in sac county. it's always been that way for as long as i've been voting absentee.

the California group. I thought we were just comparing what ballots look like in different areas.

4. There were no pre-filled in bubbles or ballots

No. My San Luis Obispo County California Democratic absentee ballot had empty bubbles next to each candidate. No choices were pre-filled in. I filled in each bubble myself for Bernie, Kamela Harris and several more local Democratic candidates. There were an astounding number of candidates from many political parties for the one available U. S. Senator position. It seems cross-over voting is allowed for that position. I'm a life long Democrat. My ballot envelope is sealed and ready to mail back.

13. My CA vote by mail ballot was received at the elections office on 05/18/16

I checked to see if my CA vote by mail ballot was received by the SLO, CA county elections office. Yes! It was logged in on 05/18/16.

Yeah Bernie! One more California vote is in the credit union (not in the bank!) for you!
