California YouTube daredevil misses pool in illicit jump from hotel

An Orange County daredevil famous on YouTube for jumping off buildings and landmarks was placed under investigation by police after reportedly jumping from a Laguna Beach hotel last week and injuring himself.

Anthony Booth Armer, 28, of Laguna Niguel was hospitalized after injuring his feet when a stunt went awry at the Pacific Edge Hotel.

In a YouTube video posted on New Year’s Day, Armer – known as 8Booth – is seen jumping off a rooftop and striking a concrete pool edge with his feet before tumbling into the water.

The video also shows photos of the injuries Armer sustained in the late-night incident. He posted another video Tuesday of hospital technicians pulling bandages from his feet.

is a monumentally stupid thing to do. This guy just aint right.

The last image of him in his hospital bed OREF hardware all over both feet show he managed to pulverize more than one bone. My guess is that he's going to need a lot of rehab and that he'll always walk funny and probably painfully.

He's damned lucky he didn't end up with bilateral amputations plus injuries higher up.

it became clear that the guy has no insurance and that he expects everyone else to contribute to paying his medical bills because he is an idiot. I guess that this is Florida Man's cousin on the Pacific Coast.
