Black Bay Area school trustee calls John Lewis a 'has been', praises Trump
ANTIOCH — Contra Costa County school board trustee Jeff Belle, who lied to voters about his educational background and has repeatedly faced criminal charges in various states, took to social media Sunday night in a Twitter rant attacking U.S. Rep. John Lewis followed by a religious assault on his critics.
“John Lewis is a ‘has been.’ A sore loser who has not served his constituents in Georgia,” Belle wrote at 9:41 p.m. Sunday, while sharing a political reporter’s tweet on the congressman and civil rights legend who was recently targeted by President-elect Donald Trump.

Lewis made headlines after calling Trump’s presidency illegitimate, prompting the president-elect to question Lewis’ dedication to his congressional district in a tweet.
