We're OK here in the South Bay....Manhattan, Hermosa and Redondo Beach cities, as far as I know.

Cheers!

Have lanterns but not much to do. No internet and phone battery about gone. Guess I'll have to read an actual book

That book is "Paul Clifford", the 1830 novel famous for it's opening sentence, "It was a dark and stormy night; the rain fell in torrents—except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind which swept up the streets, rattling along the housetops, and fiercely agitating the scanty flame of the lamps that struggled against the darkness."

I noticed that for Palms a crew is enroute, with estimated restore time not until 6:30pm Saturday.

I rented a house there while going to college in the early-mid '70s, just a few houses north of Venice Blvd.
