(14,624 posts)1. Several.
There were three declared candidates; Bilatout, Bobby(D), Franco, Ricardo (D), and Janz, Andrew (D). The group 'Unseat Devin Nunes' has endorsed Franco. I don't know if all 3 are still running.

he was labeled a traitor. So I hope that at least some will protest his appearances with similar posts.

It's a pretty conservative part of the state, so it's not a great opportunity, but there are people who will do it.

This makes me smile http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/371423-nunesmemocom-redirects-to-nunes-challengers-campaign-page
A website titled after a controversial House Intelligence Committee memo written by Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) now redirects to the homepage for his Democratic challenger's campaign.
It was not immediately clear who created the redirect to Democrat Andrew Janz's campaign website. The redirect was first noticed Tuesday afternoon. The nunesmemo.com domain name was purchased privately on Jan. 20.
Janz denied being behind the redirect in a comment to The Hill, but said he was "pleasantly surprised" by it.
"I'm proud to be running a campaign that's inspiring people across the nation. I was pleasantly surprised to see www.nunesmemo.com redirect to my site. Devin Nunes might have Russian bots doing his bidding on Twitter but you can't beat good old-fashioned people power," Janz said.
The redirect of the site to Janz's campaign comes as the House Intel committee voted this week to release the confidential memo.

Nunes opponent raises over $100K in campaign donations amid memo controversy
BY AVERY ANAPOL - 02/02/18 07:38 PM EST
The Democratic prosecutor challenging Rep. Devin Nunes (R) for his California House seat has raised more than $100,000 over the past two days amid the release of Nuness controversial memo, according to the campaign.
A campaign spokesperson for Andrew Janz confirmed to The Hill that Janzs campaign raised $111,506 over Thursday and Friday, and $54,394 on Friday alone.
"Our dramatic increase in contributions is a direct reflection of Nunes's actions, said Janz campaign manager Heather Greven. [Nunes] has given Andrew's campaign the best gift we could have received, he put a national target on his back and has made this a top 5 race. He is doing everything possible to make this a winnable race for us."
A recent poll from left-leaning Public Policy Polling showed a generic Democratic candidate within a 5-point margin of Nunes. Nuness district leans strongly Republican, however, and President Trump won it by near double-digits. The sitting congressman has far outraised Janz so far in the race, ending the year with $3.8 million in cash on hand, according to Federal Elections Commission records.
