1. It's finally below 80 in San Diego.

This is crazy weather. I don't know whether or not to get my dog's hair cut. The 20 degree changes in temp are a roller coaster.

3. I was just talking to my oldest daughter in San Diego.

She said it was lovely there today.

5. Yes, it smelled really good today.

It was too hot for 4 days, but today the air was fragrant of Springtime and freshness. My sense of smell is acute. When I lived in Phila I loved the smells of the seasons and of rain (which we never get here as you know via your daughter) and of snow. Mmmmmmm.......

6. She went to med school in Philly.

Lets just say that the change of seasons there...came as somewhat of a shock.

4. I was feeling fortunate to be able to take the day to gety away from the house.
