Running into a few California bashers

We're on a 5 month trip throughout the west.
AZ, UT, CO, ID, OR, and back home to CA.

I've gotten a few RW swipes aimed at my beautiful state.
I found a way to answer.

I tell them it's terrible in California. That they should encourage their friends and family to stay away or move if they live here.


That stops the bashing in its tracks.

We’ll be moving part time to New Mexico from Ventura County sometime this year. I’ve not heard any California bashing while in the beautiful Land of Enchantment.

Especially after getting back from driving in other states. Or I will leave Oregon into a new state. Then just sit there at the pump with my window down waiting for someone like an idiot

A friend of 30+ years has been drinking the kool-aid and I didn't know it until she sent a card back and she tore into me for putting down "our wonderful president". They are in the area of the state where opioid use is on the rise like the rest of the country. Northern CA is definitely RED! I hope they stay away from the coast and the southern part of the state. They probably can't afford to live in those places. My ex-friend declared bankruptcy so she could get medicaid for her family's healthcare. Hypocrite...using social services yet voting against the people who make that possible...typical GOP voter move.
