I cannot recall a colder January/February here in SoCal.

(51,594 posts)put the heat IN THE CEILING! Even my former first graders knew that heat rises. I painted over the thermostats 20 years ago since it was cheaper to use space heaters until this year. Finally a month ago I gave in and I tried it and it still works. San Diego is freezing! My dog needs a haircut but since she is almost 16 I will not subject her to that until it warms up. It hailed three times on Thurs and the high at 1:00 PM was 49 degrees! Hello Climate Change in my lifetime.
