Storyful Worshipers Flout California Mask Mandate at Packed Service in Redding

A large group of people flouted social distancing guidelines during a worship service at the Sundial Bridge in Redding, California, on July 22, local media reported.

The event was held by Hold the Line, a religious organization that has planned a “#LetUsWorship” tour through five cities in California, and was affiliated with the Redding-based Bethel Church School of Supernatural Ministry. However, Mike Mangas of KRCR reported that the church denied it was a sanctioned event. Local health officials were told it would be a small gathering, and therefore would not require a permit, Mangas wrote.

Leading the event was Hold the Line founder Sean Feucht, who describes himself online as a “husband, father, missionary, musician, artist, speaker, author, activist, and the founder of multiple worldwide movements.” He and a band are seen in this footage performing for the crowd.

The service drew “hundreds” of people, with “many” not wearing masks, according to local reports.

have their own little City State. Hope they build a fence around Redding just to keep them in.
