I don't get it either. My kids are in their 20s and they get it and are extremely careful, so I'm not sure it's youthful arrogance/ignorance. I just don't know.

in their mid 50s and they don't seem to see it as seriously as they should and then have the gall to say that they just can't handle the news these days and proudly give a tally of the time they've been "news free", and then they head to the beach to go surfing. And visit friends on social calls. I can't impress anything upon someone who sees me as unworthy of regard. Anything I tell them in a scientific manner... they complain that it's just my opinion.

lot of masks though.
Probably 95% masked and socially distancing but still... scary crowd sizes.
