Firefighters battled flames in three separate Napa County wildfires overnight and on Tuesday morning Cal Fire released updated information on containment and the amount of acreage burned.
The Hennessey Fire east of St. Helena is now 2,700 acres with zero containment. One structure and two outbuildings were engulfed in flames overnight and 205 homes are threatened.
The Gamble Fire, near Berryessa Knoxville Road west of Brooks, grew from 600 acres on Monday to 5,000 acres Tuesday morning. A third blaze, the 10-15 Fire, has consumed 4,500 acres near Putah Creek Bridge and Berressa Knoxville Road.
All three fires have zero containment. Nearly 500 crew members are on the scene of these conflagrations as well as 57 engines, 18 bulldozers and 13 water tenders, according to Cal Fire.

(19,459 posts)And it feels like the humidity is rising again. It will help some with the fires, but as you suggested, will make the firefighters' jobs harder.
I'm listening to KGO, and they are saying that humidity levels dropped overnight and allowed the fires to blow up.

FWIW, California ISO lifted the blackout warnings today; we dodged the bullet....for now.
