It's just as dark now. What I've heard is this is a combination of fog and smoke.

I remember you have had some recent medical issues. Hope this doesn't complicate things for you.
With all that ash and soot I don't know how you would avoid it.

I think it is because the smoke is so high, it's shading out the sun. Yesterday was a weird yellow, but today is incredible! Because the smoke is so high, that's probably why we aren't smelling it.

I guess the closest to this would be a volcano.

I so some pix of the smoke, and it looked an atomic bomb cloud.

Thought it was still night and my clock was screwed up this morning. Still fairly dark at 3 p.m. and quite eerie.
