I have seen two supplemental payments of $300 so far, but I have been advised by the state that fund is depleted and that I should not expect any further supplemental payments.

I got payment #1 last week. California has said that they're paying them in the order that unemployment claims were fully filed, meaning verified to be COVID-related. For me that was back in May (some people who filed claims earlier were not required to attest that their job loss was COVID-related; it wasn't on the website yet. Those people will have to verify that separately).

California originally said that it got enough money to pay for 3 payments for each person, which would be $900. So I expect I'm done and I'm grateful to get it.

My wife has a regular job at at hair salon that also closed due to the virus. Neither of us have seem the $300, nor have we received notice to re-certify that our job loss was Covid related (we already did that).

CA was approved for 6 weeks of payments. I assume people will be getting that.

I did the regular weekly claim Sunday and will see if I got the 300 tomorrow. The email said it would be available for 3-5 payments depending what was left in the fund.

With supposedly another 300 coming in the next couple days according to the edd schedule for disbursing it on their website. An LA Times article also says that California has been approved to disburse another 6 hundred from the fed within the next few weeks. So I will be looking forwardto that soon-ish.

I received the 600 on friday, so if you are one to receive it (many are not, based on arbitrary rules on who is eligible apparently). But if you are eligible you should be receiving 1500 total in extra benefits... Eventually.

Yes, my husband got $900 extra dollars with his unemployment money three weeks ago. I guess that is the total amount that was approved (?) It was definitely a shock.

for the $300 as her weekly benefit is only $97.

So, a $3-a-week difference = no Fed benefit.
