When I was a kid, I always wondered why we (in northern Calif) don't have thunder & lightning storms-- I don't care what the answer is-- I never want to experience another one!!

We need rain-- it would be great if we started early this year and not have to wait until January.

Stay safe!!

... and again about a month ago (LN Fires). Both times the Hero Firefighters saved my community.

This latest round is not threatening us, it is more towards St. Helena/Calistoga. About 10-15 miles as the crow flies, so too close for comfort, but not coming this way. The air finally cleared yesterday, before that it was hideous outside.

Anyway, yes yes yes, I will do a Raindance if it helps. We need rain. (but then we have mudslides to worry about)

A life without worry... is it possible? (not until after November methinks, and even then we have to worry about a civil war)

I worry too much, but how can one not in these days of trials and tribulations?

People have gotten through much worse-- we can do this.

If you can, try to confine your worry to things you can change-- is what I've read. And I think it's true, although I constantly worry about those things I can't change-- it's a real struggle sometimes.

Albeit only 20%

Rain or not, it WILL definitely be cool and cloudy; the firemen in the region will really appreciate it, and containment numbers will go up appreciably.
