Bay Area: Outages possible Sunday to Tuesday as winds of up to 100 mph bring extreme fire danger

The National Weather Service said Thursday that critical fire weather conditions return late Saturday night into Monday with the strongest winds peaking overnight Sunday.
Will Pi, a local meterologist with the National Weather Service, said the worst of it in the Bay Area will be at elevations of over 1,000 feet in the East and North Bay hills, where winds of 80 to 100 miles per hour are possible. In the valleys and along the coast, winds could reach between 30 to 50 miles per hour, he said.

Im inland, in the Sierras and they are saying rain/snow possible sat-sunday
Grew up in the East Bay (oakland hills) and those windy days are crazy.... will have to check in with friends in the area who still live there 
I think the firestorm in '92 happened in October too ...
