Add your phone to California’s exposure notification system to get COVID-19 exposure alerts and to protect those around you.

From the Frequently Asked Questions:

Who can participate?

This program is in pilot deployment at select University of California campuses only. Participating campuses are: UC San Diego, UCSFH, UC Davis, UC Berkeley, Berkeley Lab, UCLA, UC Riverside, and UC Santa Barbara. If you are not affiliated with one of the participating campuses you can turn on CA Notify on your phone, but you will not be able to verify a COVID positive diagnosis or notify other users until CA Notify is fully enabled statewide.

Too bad, we could definitely use something like this. Unfortunately, people are being really closed-mouthed to contact tracers.

I still signed up for it because I know they will try to use it statewide when they are able to. They did say it was in beta form.
