I still have not received mine -- anyone else NOT received theirs yet?
I'm starting to think it's just not going to happen...

(22,896 posts)As for what the IRS says, either I don't qualify, or else they're still working on it.
And to check back repeatedly.
For the second stimulus, I received $1.65. I kid you not.

(4,533 posts)If you got 1.95 that means your 2019 income was close to 100,000, or 200,000 if married. Based on that you make too much for the 1400 stimulus. But since your accountant thinks you are eligible, we know your 2020 income has declined. The IRS is running behind processing 2020 returns, more so in some locations than in others. When they learn your income has declined to less than 160,000, or 80,000 if single, they will send you stimulus three. Most likely. If they screw up and never send stimulus three you are owed, you claim the missing money on next years tax return.

(51,590 posts)I called the IRS and was not even able to get through to them...auto hang up. I persisted and in March I got through to them. Apparently my $600 was sent on Jan 6 (the day of the riots...maybe that screwed ot up?). They said to call back after waiting 4 weeks for forms to fill out or for a trace to be put on it. I called after 4 weeks and had no $600 or any IRS forms. I called again after I finally got the forms 2 weeks ago. The IRS person told me it would be faster to file and let the IRS take it out of my taxes on "Line 30". I had waited to file and finally did on Monday, electronically. Since the USPS is screwed up and lost a bunch of my payments for my bills and the 2nd stimulus I didn't trust them to handle my taxes too. I was told that if you don't get the stimulus payments that you can also have it taken out of 2021 taxes. Between the USPS and the IRS I am surprised anyone is getting a refund or paying what they owe correctly and on time.
I also learned that Biden allowed for health insur premiums and payments to be reduced from May - Dec 2021. My savings will be about $1,500. I get my health insur through a govt agency with tax credits (Covered CA is mine) and I think that may be a prerequisite.
