Alas, rush-hour meltdowns are not unique to Muni. San Jose's VTA uncorked a doozy on me Thursday night, complete with dozens of people jaywalking across the street to get to the temporary holding pen. Guess who was the one yelling instead of dying inside??

(10,893 posts)but with regards to #1 and #24, it doesn't really rain that much in the Bay Area. It rains a little, but it has been rather warm and dry this winter and spring compared to past years. As a fan of rainy weather living in the Bay, I actually kinda feel ripped off. And summers in SF seem to have been on the warm side overall the past few years.
The amount of precipitation and how cool it is in SF is nothing, compared to coastal areas upstate, such as Eureka. Eureka, Arcata, and the rest of Humboldt County are where it's at in terms of cool weather and cool summers. I checked yesterday, and while it was in the 70s in Oakland and SF, it barely reached the 60s in Eureka, and there was a chance of showers there a few days ago.
