by tossing it in with 12 counties full of dumbasses like the one I live in.

Fortunately there's a better chance of me becoming pope than of this ridiculous proposal ever being adopted.

Under Stone's proposal, Los Angeles County would NOT be part of his new Southern California state which as far as I'm concerned is just fine.

If I wanted to live in Alabama I'd move there. I don't want it to come to me.

I don't think he's going to get a very favorable response from north of the Tehachapi's. Most of the people around here moved away from SoCal because there were already too friggin many people there and because the quality of life in bedroom communities like Riverside sucked.

Mental masturbation by a douchebag.

Actually in terms of real estate controlled(countywise), Republicans already control the bulk of the state. i believe liberals would do well to support this because then they can govern their areas as they see fit while the Republicans and conservatives can do the same in their areas. Too much partisan gridlock at the state level currently over way too many issues. It's counterproductive to say the least.

not workable. You need to look at the 'real estate' the RW controls - agriculture and water and a majority of the coastline. Now if you want to see this state taken to complete environmental degradation, handing over the 'bulk' real estate to the RW would do it!
