So I am not too happy about the heat we're experiencing now.

But, damn, it's really been a lovely summer here in paradise (South OC).

I'm sorry (for you) to say. Well, except for the traffic this time of year. Otherwise it truly is paradise.

I don't really think about or appreciate my locale often (inland a couple miles) - until I am reminded of the fact that people save all year to vacation down here. I've been here most of my life. I've tried to leave a few times. I just can't.

I'm bitching about the 90s being back here in NM. It's September! We're only supposed to be in the low to mid 80s!

Texas, take your damned heat back.

Weather patterns have been backwards, east to west, all summer. We never did get any classic monsoonal rains this year.

I can handle the 100+ days as long as the nights are under 70. Our Thursday forecast changed from 104 to 100, sure hope Pasadena tops out under 108, that sounds more like Palm Springs than the home of the Rose Parade.

Plus there is all the monsoonal moisture up from Baja making it humid. It's been a bad hair week.
