Nursing home has man arrested for trying to kiss his wife
FAIRFIELD - Heinz Vonkuthy just wanted to kiss his wife goodbye.
But instead, officials at Regal Care in the Southport section of Fairfield had the 91-year-old Easton man arrested.
“I was there, and my wife was very happy to see me and then they made me leave,” Vonkuthy told Hearst Connecticut Media on Tuesday. “It was all very strange.”
In fact, according to the police report, officials at Regal Care called police who came and arrested Vonkuthy and charged him with criminal trespass.
