Police: Veterinarian shouted anti-Semitic slurs in drunken tirade
WESTPORT — A Wilton man shouted anti-Semitic slurs and called officers “peons” after he was asked to leave a Westport restaurant, police said.
Westport police responded to Rizzuto’s Restaurant and Bar around 10 p.m. Thursday on reports of an unruly customer.
Police said that Nicholas Sitinas, 57, was asked to leave the bar after he allegedly caused a disturbance.
Several witnesses later told police that Sitinas acted rudely toward the restaurant staff and made multiple anti-Semitic remarks.
