Help - travel information

We are planning a motorcycle ride next week. Taking the ferry from Cape May to Lewis and then drive to Va., Williamsburg.

Figuring from Rt. 1 and then west to the secondary highway across the bay.

Is it a scenic ride? Heavy traffic?

Any other info?

Checking for you.

Here's a route/map.

I wouldn't say hugely scenic, but the water's nice and so is Virginia, usually. State routes nicer than the big interstates.

p.s. The Delaware beaches are among the DC area folks favorite places, and while its early in the season, the weather's been pretty good so you'll probably meet some of 'us.'
