(50,994 posts)it was nuts. I was in downtown Silver Spring at the time and many surrounding neighborhoods lost power. Downtown Bethesda lost power. The more woodsy areas lost power from downed trees. Baltimore neighborhoods lost power.
I was trying to reschedule something because an office in Bethesda had no power for 7 days. The people I was talking to were in another country and they refused to believe that an American city would lost power for any amount of time. Their attitude was "you Americans have no idea what losing power even means, fool".
