1. "Singing in the Rain" was on one of my local Public Broadcasting stations Friday night.

What a relief to come across that delightful movie, when the cable channels were full of pictures and stories of You-know-who, which was the last thing I wanted to see.

I loved seeing Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds, and Donald O'Connor singing and dancing across the screen.

To tell the truth, the story-line is weak, but the fun and comic-relief was great!
