Thankfully I can control whether my condo is heat or A/C but I remember living in rental apartments where the building decided one or the other, and always erred on the side of heat. That kind of stuff contributes to people going outside when it gets too hot inside to stay home, which is bad for social distancing.

Found out several weeks ago that I inherited the "least efficient" and heat-producing mitochondria from my mother, so it apparently makes sense. (Her distant female ancestors probably lived around Northern Europe and Siberia.)
