JUST IN, 1030a Friday: Wind advisory UPGRADED to HIGH WIND WARNING for immediate DC area

, starting at noon. 12-18 hours of gusts over 40 mph w/ isolated gusts to 50 to 60 mph. We're already gusting to 30 to 40 mph. Some downed trees, power outages poss.

This is the most solid nest I've seen (tho I haven't studied the subject,) and the location is excellent, east side of my house, east of the river, nicely protected from the elements.
