but yes, shortening your stride while altering your center of gravity will certainly help.
I remember having to learn that all over again every winter in Boston.

That'll really shorten your stride AND save on bread bags - we all know how important they can be in the harsh Iowa winters.

What I thought was just wet road turned to be ice. Fell, got up and fell again about 3 feet beyond. I decided to walk to the store because I needed the exercise. Was not a good idea.
Sick of this Winter, still up to my windows in snow piles. Phooey!
