It's 94 degrees in DC on this Wednesday afternoon. On Tuesday, it hit 96,

the hottest in May in more than a decade. But cool weather is not far off. New York City's in the 60s. Boston's in the 50s.

Cooler air will eventually get here, but not before a fiesty round of storms Thursday afternoon.

over the fact that it is only 83 degrees and sunny in Bryan. One of the few opportunities that I get to gloat over the weather as we enter the summer months.

A small localized thunderstorm developed. I went into the kitchen to prepare my salad for tonight and when I finished I looked outside the balcony door to see it was wet. The last few heat showers have gone around Bryan so the rain is welcome.

I'm glad that you were able to see your niece and hope that you had an enjoyable visit.

Was good to see her, and she brought her father, my BROTHER, and last time I saw him was 3+ years ago!
