Heads-up for Wednesday afternoon and evening: HEAVY RAIN threat

for parts of the region and the possibility of flooding.
* Storms -- possibly numerous -- between 3 and 10p
* It won't rain the whole time but some areas could see multiple bouts of heavy rain -- evening may be busiest time.
* Areas west of DC have best chance to see high rainfall totals but souply, very humid airmass means heavy downpours possible anywere. Can't rule out some 3"+ rain totals.
* Some storms could be severe with damaging wind gusts
* We'll post a detailed brief on Wednesday around midday.
PIctured- NWS rainfall forecast-- note that this smoothes over potential for locally much heavier pockets of rain. Posted 10p Tuesday.

I don't have tickets but it looks like quite a lineup for people who like classic rock.

It was postponed due to Covid almost 2 years ago. With my luck, I will get hit with Hail the. Struck by lightning. The concert will go on, the question is will I be there.
