must find placement for cats - please offer links

Long story short, we're moving to California. We have nine cats* and can only take two. We're taking the two with special needs.

If you know of any foster organizations, rescues for cats, no-kill shelters, or any other such organizations that I might contact, please post the links here.

Of course, if you are willing to offer a home to one or more healthy senior cats (ages eight to 14), I'm happy to discuss it with you.

You made a moral agreement with your cats to keep and care for them until they died.

You should find a place to move where you can take them all.

Some things, although we wish they could be, are not so cut and dried. There's a penny change for you.

Here - have the other penny back, too: Don't you fucking think that if not going were a choice, I would stay? Anyone with a heart would stay - if it were possible. And don't you think that if I could find a place that could accept all of my cats, that I would go to that place?! Jesus.

Try to imagine a world in which everything is not perfect.
