Checks and balances ... Voting in FL

As much as this state can bite the big one, it's voting system is, in my opinion, is not too shabby.

1. received my mail-in ballot in a timely manner

2. researched the little guys .. local election stuff, mayor, city counsel, mosquito control, etc

3. made my choices .. Dem all the way

4. made sure everything was in order ... secrecy envelope, date, signature

5. drove to election headquarters and dropped off ballot.

6. will check online to be sure that all is well. if for some reason my ballot rejected (mismatch of signature or some bull shit reason) I have plenty of time to get another ballot and do it again.

Go Vote. Now. Mail it or drop it off. And if they reject your ballot ... get another ... make sure your vote counts

My first Florida vote. My experience was much the same. No hassle, efficient and easy. Registering as a new voter was equally as good.

when I will march myself down to the early voting booth and vote in person.

I mask up to buy groceries, I can mask up to vote.

I did not have to fill out a date. I just looked at the instructions and it says nothing about a date requirement.

Regardless, I mailed my ballot early this week but as of late Thursday afternoon it does not show up as being received. However, records of another family member who mailed her ballot one day earlier does indicate received.
