Supervisor of Election's office until the 19th when early voting begins. Of course, I can mail it right away, but I wanted to take it down to the office, instead. Is there any reason why I can't still do that

UPDATE: PROBLEM SOLVED FOR SEMINOLE COUNTY == IT'S ON THEIR SITE:

I’m sure it’s the same law for all Florida Counties... We live in Alachua (Gainesville) and dropped them off in the lockbox at the Supervisor of Elections office last week. Google the page for the Supervisor of Elections office in your county and find out the procedure.

We received our ballots a week ago Friday in the mail and we filled them in and drove them down to Kaley. Our son could have given them to a gentleman at the door who was directing people to the various windows for their needs. People seemed to be mostly registering to vote. Our ballots were handed by our son to a person at a window who was specifically collecting ballots. He watched her date stamp each of them. If memory serves they were shown as received on Monday and then processed on Wednesday when we looked up our accounts on the website.

I hope this helps.

My ballot had the directions clearly printed. All the locations to drop ballot and what dates the various locations accepted ballots. And 24 hour video surveillance. It couldn't be easier.

Even got my "I voted" sticker. Checked my county database, saw confirmation the ballot was received but it hadn't been tabulated yet.
