Only today did it move ahead of one county -- tiny Hardee County -- in terms of percentage of returned ballots.

Last night I got contacted by another journalist who said he was going to look into it. I write to him 10 days ago but he didn't respond until last night. He agreed the Seminole return rate isn't logical in comparison to adjacent counties. I told him Seminole took their sweet time, not beginning until the 21st.

on the Supervisor of Election's officer who is running for the re-election, does it?

Sad to say it, but in this county they like people who can act all "Guffaw, stupid me" and get away with it. If the reporter wants to get involved, maybe he can talk directly to the supervisor of elections. Maybe they're setting him up as a fall guy?
