The Florida Legislature Apoligized for Slavery Back in 2008
I came across this by chance. Evidently, in 2008 they invited some people to discuss the horrors of slavery and then voted to apologize for the legislature's role in it.
At the end you see Marco Rubio presiding.
I guess the FL GOP used to be woke.
