Federal judge holds Florida law prohibiting Medicaid payments for trans patients treatments violates

the equal protection clause, the ACA, and the Medicaid statute

Fed. judge holds that Florida's law prohibiting Medicaid payments for puberty blockers for minors and cross-sex hormones for trans patients violates the equal protection clause, the ACA, and the Medicaid statute. https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.flnd.443916/gov.uscourts.flnd.443916.246.0.pdf

Some familiar names in this one. These same men were the expert witnesses in the trial over Arkansas trans care ban that was struck down yesterday. They were recruited by ADF to support trans panic laws.

Like in the Arkansas decision yesterday, this court is not entertaining the claim that all medical experts are "woke" just because these ADF-picked witnesses say so.

And also like the Arkansas decision yesterday (which gets cited a lot), this court is not having the state's false protestation that it's just trying to be like Europe.
