The AIF is an anti-tax/regulatory/workers rights organization. They are heavily invested in putting such polls.

(14,449 posts)The one about unemoyment being 3 percent when Christ started and 11 percent when he left is astonishingly horrible and should be against the law. I wonder if voters are falling for that commercial.

(15,435 posts)the election is over. Boggles my mind that it's even close, but nothing much surprises me anymore, only depresses me.
Just saw info about huge globs of Red Tide off shore from St. Pete north. Scott doesn't believe climate change is real, wants off shore drilling and if I'm not mistaken I think he wants to do away with EPA!
I've lived in FL for a very long time, but that pic of red tide "blob" isn't anything I've seen before. I'm either hyperventilating, screaming or holding my head in my hands. Not sure how much more I can take!

That's my op.

(15,435 posts)I didn't vote for him for Governor, but he wasn't all that bad compared to what has happened since! I hear too many people telling me he isn't a real Democrat, blah, blah, blah!
AND FDP does SUCK! I've even heard Democrats in FL legislature sounding very "Repukish!" I WISH I had never read "The Rise And Fall Of The Roman Empire." I know there are some different views, but most views aren't terribly different.
Maybe I should go back and find a different version, read it a long time ago!

(15,435 posts)but you seem to follow politics like it's your job. TheNutcracker seems like a name I've seen more than what you're numbers show here. I checked your journal and am now even more depressed, you have some interesting posts.
Anyway, I have a million questions in my head and appreciate your information. I've posted more lately, but there are days that go by that I don't post. I've even stopped from time to time. You obviously spend more time at this than I do so I presume you're more involved than many here.
Anyway, thanks for keeping us informed.
