Checking in from Merritt Island FL
Thankfully only minor damage on MI. We evacuated to Gainesville but a neighbor who stayed let us know our wood fences are gone (I expected that, they were old & needed to be replaced, I guess demo is done for me) & power is back on already (power was only off about 12 hours).
A friend in Cocoa Beach said he never even lost power.
We got lucky, the storm weakened a little & stayed about 10 miles offshore. It could have been worse.
We should be home on Sunday, hopefully we didn't lose shingles & have roof leaks, I put tarps over the important stuff in the house just in case (studio equipment & the bed - all it takes is a small roof leak to soak your mattress & that sucks). I'm hoping for the best!
