As governor I will not just criticize this culture of teaching to the test: I will end high-stakes testing, she vowed. . .
Graham also vowed to raise the minimum wage, ban fracking, and to use money from voter-approved Amendment 1 to protect land. She criticized Scott for banning use of the term climate change and portrayed him as only looking out for the rich.'

(12,132 posts)John Morgan is considering a run too. Heard him on local NPR this morning. He called himself a Compassionate Capitalist. Vowed to sue the state for tryng to outlaw smoking of medical cannabis (the language in the amendment he worked so hard to get passed said no smoking "in public places" but Tallahassee legislators are trying to extend that to no smoking at all. Just edibles I guess).
Does not really support the death penalty but wouldn't outright proclaim he stands with Aramis Ayala for not wanting to pursue the DP in any cases. Agrees that DP is grossly unfair and unevenly applied. I may have missed some of what he said about that though as I had to get gas.
Since I live in Orlando I've heard of Morgan a lot but I'm glad to see another good choice in Gwen Graham. Will have to learn more about her but she sounds great based on OP and EllenG's post..

Will have to see who else is running...she might be the best or might not...but I don't care much for those votes.
