Her father is the former Fl Gov Bob Graham and she's been the Representative for Fl 2nd for 2 years. But other than that really don't know a lot about her.
Has any other Dem announced for the Governor's race yet?

Daniel Robert "Bob" Graham (born November 9, 1936) is an American politician and author. As a member of the American Democratic Party, he was the 38th governor of Florida from 1979 to 1987 and a United States Senator from that state from 1987 to 2005.
Graham ran for the 2004 Democratic presidential nomination, but dropped out of the race on October 6, 2003. He announced his retirement from the Senate on November 3 of that year.
Graham now works at the newly established Bob Graham Center for Public Service at his undergraduate alma mater, the University of Florida. He also served as Chairman of the Commission on the Prevention of WMD proliferation and terrorism. Through the WMD policy center he advocates for the recommendations in the Commission's report, "World at Risk."
Graham also served as co-chair of the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling and a member of the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission and the CIA External Advisory Board.
In 2011 Graham published his first novel, the thriller The Keys to the Kingdom.[1] Graham has written three nonfiction books: Workdays: Finding Florida on the Job, Intelligence Matters, and America: The Owner's Manual.

(34,131 posts)It's a hard choice for me - I contributed to Gwen Graham's campaign for US Representative and as a result was invited to her birthday party, which was sort of an unofficial declaration of her run several months ago. My brother in law worked in her campaign office in Panama City and went to the party with my husband and I.
The major reason she did not run for re-election as US Rep was the gerrymandering took a lot of the parts of Leon County that put her over the top the first time she ran. For instance, my part of Leon is now in District 5 which was represented by Corrine Brown and is now represented by Al Lawson of Tallahassee. I would have voted for Gwen again if they had fucked up the districts.
On the other hand, Andrew Gillum is a home town guy for me. He was on the list as a possible VP for Hillary Clinton. He's been a good administrator for Tallahassee and is a real solid Democrat.
It's going to be a very had choice for me to make between those two, if either of them make it to the primaries.
Here is the list of people who have filed for 2018 so far - you'll have to scroll down to the governor section: http://dos.elections.myflorida.com/candidates/CanList.asp
